Germany is a beautiful place

Hey mom :)  I'll be super happy to run into the Carrolls when they visit.  haha I'll get to speak German with Erin. She was always so much better than I was but now I've gotten pretty quick ;) So, this week we were able to commit 3 people to baptism! and they all came to church. So our investigators are called Lilly Ramos, Abdol and Abbas. Lilly is Austrian/Panama and Abdol and Abbas are Persian. They referred themselves online after meeting missionaries in Hamburg and we knocked on Lilly's door.  They love the members, the members love them and its looking way too easy :) #Blessings. So on other notes, Germany is a beautiful place, but besonderes(special) to Germany is the state of Hessen, the heart of Germany, and here is where the Lord has called me to serve. The beautiful countrysides are dotted with Dorfs(villages) and the dialect involves a lot more sh than ch  haha which is just great. The members here say Grüß dich instead of Hallo and the word Servus has become vocab. I'm 20 minutes from Bavaria and love the atmosphere. We often visit the huge Evangelisch churches, a big contrast in my mission, having been trained in one of the biggest Catholic hubs outside of Rome. I'm just loving everything about it. The people, The work, The free time, The food. The Lord certainly answered my prayers with Germany. When I get down I just have to remind myself that I did in fact pray for this haha.

Today we were invited to take a "nature walk" with the other missionaries in Friedberg, so thats where the photos will come from haha  I'm excited for that. There's a lot of snow around and that makes everything beautiful but a heck of a lot colder haha Wishing I was back in the desert.

Liebe Grüße. Elder Fisher

New Year and Snow

I'm serving with Elder Woolley, he's a madman and so we're having a blast! It snowed the last day of the year so we made a snow man haha I'll include pictures. I've just started my black year!!! I'm one transfer away from my half point mark and don't have anything to burn ;) except for a bonsai tree... his names Benni. Haha Well, we met this lady whose mom is from California, she's taking the discussions and just shines with potential :) We found 4 more middle eastern Potentials and our area just went from dead back to a healthy fluffy Missionary field of Labor :) So I'm just overjoyed :) Also, Germans really loved blowing things up on New Years so my companion and I dressed in our Leder Hosen and watched the explosions from our Balcony :) it be fun. Bis nächsten Mal

***He didn't have much time to email this week.  They must access wi-fi (usually at the church building) to access their email.  He did send us a video of him applying a dead sea mud mask.  Apparently, he and his companion both did them.  The faces he made and the fact that he was so serious about it had me in tears laughing.  Here are a few stills I grabbed of his funny faces as the mud dried.***
