SEI EINEN BEISPIEL!!! BE AN EXAMPLE!!!

So on the mission front, my Golden, Elder Leimer, is an amazing guy! His father is an Area Seventy here in Germany so he and his father have met a handful of General Authorities. He likes good music and loves the German People, cause he's from Frankfurt hahaha  He's helping me tremendously with German and we're going good work. This week we just lost all our investigators though, Abosh is a refugee and is living in Gov. Housing so we can't teach him, although he wants to be baptized. He still attends church every week and will finish the lessons and make that commitment as soon as he finds his own place. His family is helping him search so it shouldn't be too long. :)  He will be the second Soul I am honored to help all the way to the waters of baptism <3

K* is a man from Ghana, and he's technically illegal here cause he has gar keine papers (none at all) :p  So we aren't allowed to teach him either.

We are still working with Emmanuel, our angel from Nigeria! He's baptized and loving the Gospel. He's already a scriptural Scholar, quoting all sorts of scriptures when we get together to do post baptism lessons!

So this week we need to go back to our focus on reaping, we need to find for those who are ready. Which will be both fun and easy because I have a great companion to back me up.

This last week we were able to do some much needed member work, we helped Sister Manzke's Man move his mother out of her apt. He isn't a member so it was good to be helpful and dependendable.
We were able to also go to dinner with another part member family. This woman and her son are so sweet! We gave a lesson about gratitude and I asked her,
Für was bist du dankbar?
What are you thankful for?

She began to get teary eyed and said simply, so many things.

She had had a hard life in membership in the church, disfellowshipped followed by inactivity, but finally she made the decision to come back and it has truly blessed her life. She shared how her example as a member affects her family. Every night she prays with her member son and invites her man to join. He often does and then when her son went on a trip she prayed alone. A few days passed and her man came to her and asked "hey, why aren't you inviting me to pray with you anymore?"

She was delighted and resolved always to invite him <3 such a sweet testimony of how members are able to do work missionaries can't because they have all of that beautiful time! Member missionary work is often done through example, people see how different you are! They see your happiness, they see your smiles and your diligence in practicing your religion. NEVER be afraid to pray with non members, it invites them into a special part of your life, it shows trust and feels really good to be invited and be a part of something that shapes how you act every day. These people feel really good and then feel more comfortable asking questions because they know you want to include them.
